Sometimes we think that alignment is hard to find or hard to establish. But in reality alignment is very easy to gain.

When I started 2020, I was ready. Just like the rest of the world, I was ready with my plans. I was ready with my vision board, my gratitude, knowing how I was going to move forward and use my time.

And then Covid-19 happened, and everything that I planned (like the rest of the world) came to a halting stop.

At first I was sick so I didn’t mind anything, but then it lasted longer than most and my frustration grew. I was getting frustrated because I felt like I was not going to turn the corner. Finally, I did and as I got better, I thought I was just going to pick up and go.

Until the schools closed and online learning started. Well, there goes the plans, the vision board, the goals and everything else with it. Because overnight, I became 18 teachers and 6 therapists. YESSSS! Pulling my hair was not the right description.

It was truly madness and I was so ANGRY that I could not finally do everything that I said I was going to accomplish with my business and even at home. I was mad because finally I thought this was going to be my year.

I became restless and wondered when it was the right time to “hit the ground running.”

But the deeper we got into Covid-19 madness, the more changed. And I’m not referring to the outside world, although, that was definitely happening… I am referring to me.

Creating the best alignment is truly quieting yourself and listening to you & what your surrounding is telling you.

I started questioning everything around me. I started to think about what was really important to me and bought me joy. I started to ask what was working for me and the family. I started to enjoy my friends and family who I finally had the time for. Although unfortunately for my friends it was through a new format - zooms. Oy vey.

But, slowly I started to realign with my true self and my true focus.

And since I had a limited amount of time, and as a true momazing, I started to make the best out of every little morsel of time I got.

Beautifully enough that’s when alignment came in. That’s when simplicity came in. That’s when I got the aha moment that I needed to truly simplify my business and let go of everything that was not serving us.

No longer did I deem it necessary to have four sites, or four different shades of blue, or having a bunch of subscriptions that I barely touched.

I truly went down to the most simplest nature of everything around me and started to enjoy it. Started to enjoy online learning. Started to enjoy going outside (even while raining). Started to enjoy posting and creating a new plan for the rest of the year.

I just started to enjoy everything.

Because I dove into myself and finally was forced to be honest with what mattered to me most, and was going to bring the most value or impact.

And although I am still evolving and most likely will change as time goes by even more, I am thankful that I have the opportunity to experience it.

Xo,

Clara
